Boise clinched a playoff berth for the fourth straight year with a 9-8 win over Salem-Keizer, earning the post-season trip with the best overall record as Hillsboro won both halves. Dallas Beeler tossed seven shutout frames as Iowa blanked Oklahoma City but the I-Cubs eliminated from the playoffs. Tennessee’s showdown with Chattanooga was rained out while Kane County and Daytona both lost.

Boise kept pace for first place in the NWL as all nine starters had at least one hit and knocked in a run in the 12-9 win. Boise outfielder Rashad Crawford, a 11th round pick in 2011, extended his hit streak to 19 games. Iowa hit three homers in their win, the Smokies were swept, while Daytona and Kane County lost. Teenager Eloy Jimenez had two RBI in Mesa’s win.
