Angelo Johnson Considering Four Schools

Angelo Johnson, a 5-foot-11 point guard who is transferring from USC, is considering four schools, according to Howard Pulley AAU head man Rene Pulley. Johnson played at Minneapolis North and Henry along with the Howard Pulley AAU program, before transferring to Marietta Convent Christian and Stoneridge Prep. Minnesota is not expected to look at Johnson, despite needing for point guard depth.

Angelo Johnson, a 5-foot-11 point guard who played at USC as a freshman, is transferring from the program, according to the L.A. Times. Johnson played at Minneapolis North and Henry along with the Howard Pulley AAU program, before transferring to Marietta Convent Christian (2005-06) and Stoneridge Prep (2006-07). Johnson could possibly look at Minnesota, who is looking for point guard depth.

Trojans Blowout the Beavers, 81-53

After Thursday's come-from-behind victory over Oregon, USC Head Coach Tim Floyd was concerned that the Trojans might take the lowly Oregon State Beavers lightly. But that certainly wasn't the case Saturday night as the Trojans jumped out to 10-0 lead en route to a 81-53 blowout win in front of 8,143 fans at the Galen Center.
