Duquesne's 91-64 Win Showed Team's Energy

This afternoon, the 2010-11 Duquesne's men's basketball team no longer has a 'missing component. Junior Eric Evans saw his first action after missing all 10 previous games.The Dukes got back above .500 (6-5) with an easy, 91-64 win over Northwestern State University of Louisiana on New Year's Eve's afternoon at the Palumbo Center.

PITTSBURGH - Damian Saunders, who scored 16 of his 20 points in the second half, hit a driving layup with 25.8 seconds left to help Duquesne (15-12, 6-7) to a 73-71 win over Dayton (18-8, 7-5) before the Dukes largest Palumbo Center crowd of the season.

Bolding's Trey Gives Dukes 70-69 Win Over SBU

Duquesne's men's basketball team, which led by 15 at the half, came back from a four-point deficit in the final minute and grabbed a 70-69, Atlantic 10 Conference victory over St. Bonaventure on sophomore Melquan Bolding's three-pointer with 3.1 seconds on the clock. The win halted DU's five-game losing streak.

Duquesne's men's basketball team, which had lost in double overtime to Pitt on Wednesday, got back on the winning side of the ledger with a 58-44 victory over Savannah State in the final game of the inaugural Chuck Cooper Classic Saturday afternoon at the Palumbo Center.
