There was an obvious connection to Nebraska for Khiry Cooper. Husker tight ends coach Ron Brown looked at life much the same as Cooper did, - through the eyes of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. That's all well and good, but there was so much more Khiry needed to know before he and his mom could say that it would be a place for him. He got those answers today.

Just because signing day is closing in, it doesn't mean that the official visits will start to taper off. Point of fact, Nebraska could get a surge in visits over the next couple of weeks. And one of the latest developments in official visits is wide receiver Khiry Cooper, and he's going to Nebraska on the 1st of February to see if Nebraska stacks up with his impressive list of offers.
