Trent Steelman Chasing his NFL Dream

Last time we saw Trent Steelman on a football field he was inconsolable after pushing Navy all the way in a 17-13 defeat in his final Army Navy game. While Steelman may never have claimed the victory over the Midshipmen which he so craved, the former Army West Point quarterback is now aiming at another of his dreams, playing in the NFL.

Shrine Practice: Steelman transitioning

Many talented athletes from across the nation have been working hard on the practice field for the East-West Shrine Game in hopes of making a strong NFL draft case for themselves. Army quarterback Trent Steelman has been playing wide receiver all week and said the transition is going well and he's learning a lot.

The Black Knights offense did lead the nation in rushing for the second consecutive year as they ran for a school record 4,438 yards. The problem for Army is that they committed too many fumbles, often failed to finish promising drives and lacked a threat at wide receiver to keep defenses honest.

Report Card: Army vs. Boston College

The Army Black Knights won a thrilling last minute 34-31 victory over Boston College in front of a crowd of 39,942 at Michie Stadium. After Raymond Maples was stopped at the 1-yard line on fourth down with 2:03 left in the game, it looked like Army would lose another heart breaker. However, the defense forced a poor punt by the Eagles.
