SEATTLE - He may not be the tallest linebacker in America, but Allen Mooney carries some big game with him. KIRKLAND, Wash. - The Seattle Seahawks have been selected to participate in the 2008 National Football League's 7-on-7 National Tournament. The tournament will be held in New Orleans, Louisiana and hosted by the New Orleans Saints on July 10-13. Seattle was one of 16 teams chosen to compete over two days, starting with round-robin play, followed by a single-elimination tournament.

Scout.com spoke Sunday with Allen Mooney, a 5-foot-11, 220-pound linebacker prospect from O'Dea High School in Seattle, and we learned that at least one Division-1 program from the northwest thinks Mooney is the top 'backer on their list.
