With the days ticking ever closer to Washington's September 5th clash with LSU, the more Steve Sarkisian is thinking about the game. More specifically, how the mechanics of the game are going to go. With that in mind, as well as the thought that he wants his team as fresh as possible going into their battle with the Bayou Bengals, it appears that full pads are done for fall camp.

SEATTLE - Friday was earmarked as a clean-up day by Steve Sarkisian, but as it turned out he wasn't the only one at Washington looking to clean up some loose ends. Washington Athletic Director Scott Woodward spoke about WSU's decision to abruptly end talks that could have netted UW and WSU roughly $10 million apiece by playing the Apple Cup at Qwest Field for six years, starting in 2010.

SEATTLE - Washington Head Coach Steve Sarkisian said Wednesday that running back Terrance Dailey, Washington's leading ground-gainer in 2008, as well as redshirt-freshman offensive lineman Allen Carroll, are no longer a part of the football team. Dailey, a sophomore from Vacaville, Calif., accounted for 338 yards and one touchdown last season.

SEATTLE - As Trick Daddy's 'Take it to the House' was winding down, the music fading from the speakers alongside the field at Husky Stadium, you could hear the DJ's marching orders from Steve Sarkisian: "Play me a good song!" Slowly, AC/DC's 'Thunderstruck' come busting through the woofers and tweeters as the Huskies marched through the rest of their team period.
