Bishop retires, 7 others departing program

OFFSEASON ATTRITION IS a way of life in college football. That doesn't make it any less abrupt. Eight Beavers have left the program, Oregon State announced today. They are: WR Jordan Bishop, WR Geno Munoz, CB Keynan Parker, LB Cade Cowdin, QB Jack Lomax, LB Zeke Sanders, LB Will Storey and WR Tyler Trosin.

Riley talks Civil War and more

MIKE RILEY cannot comment specifically on recruits but he did say Sunday night there were no immediate verbal commitments from this weekend. Still, he said he felt they were "closer" on the recruits post-visit and felt great about how everything had gone, and is going, with them recruiting-wise. NOTEBOOK: Andrews returns, Agnew shut-down?

OG JOSH ANDREWS APPEARS to be on the cusp of returning to action earlier than expected. Meanwhile, this could be a very big week for RB Malcolm Agnew as it relates to the rest of his season. If he plays, then it's full steam ahead. If not, if his injured hamstring isn't ready, Mike Riley is talking about shutting him down for the rest of the season.
