The Los Angeles Chargers recently released the price of tickets for the 2017 season at The StubHub Center. It’s not going to be cheap. The average season ticket price for the Lightning Bolts will be roughly $192 per game.
While it may not win over new fans, the high cost is heavily influenced by the StubHub Center’s 30,000 seat capacity. The average cost of $192 per game is the face value of the tickets bought directly from the Chargers organization. Though ticket prices through 3rd party sites are expected to go beyond face value, especially when the Raiders are in town, the Chargers still anticipate selling out all home games.
At $192, this is expected to be the highest average cost of an NFL game, surpassing the Chicago Bears average cost in 2016.
For the 2017 season, the Chargers will host a total of three teams that made it to the playoffs last season -- the Chiefs, Raiders and Dolphins -- along with the Broncos, Bills, Browns, Eagles and Redskins.
