2019 FANTASY OUTLOOK AND PROJECTION: SOLID PERFORMER
While not considered an 'elite' fantasy option, Adam Duvall is projected to be a regular fantasy starter next season. In our latest projection he is the #48 outfielder based on total projected fantasy points. At the end of the 2018 season he was owned in just 37 percent of leagues. This should go up next season. He is projected to average 2.42 fantasy points per game in 151 games.
SEASON FANTASY RECAP AND TREND
Adam Duvall was a bench player and spot starter this past fantasy season. He was the #216 ranked fantasy player this season and the #77 OF. His ranking drops to the #119 ranked OF when basing it on average fantasy points. His production dropped throughout the season. In his first 44 games he averaged 2.3 FPs and that declined to 0.9 in his final 45 games. Using standard deviation as an indicator of consistency, Duvall is relatively inconsistent capable of very high highs and equally low lows. He averaged 1.7 FPs, but on any given day his projected ceiling is as high as 10 fantasy points.

DAILY FANTASY SEASON RECAP
His FanDuel average was 6.9 points and on DraftKings it was 5 per game. We looked at all of his games that were between the 10th and 90th percentile where the 10th percentile is his floor and the 90th is his ceiling. When he was bad in DFS, he was really bad with a floor of zero points. He had a relatively high ceiling. On DraftKings it was 11 and on FanDuel it was 16.2 FPs. He has had more bad FanDuel games (below average by 20%) than good games (20% above average), and the same was true on DraftKings. We are only including games where they were in the daily fantasy slate and played.
