In our latest projections for shortstops Francisco Lindor is number one, followed by Manny Machado and Xander Bogaerts. Jose Peraza and Corey Seager are not in the very upper tier, but they are solid options as well. If you are looking to take a outfielders high in the draft the projection recommends Mike Trout and Mookie Betts. If you use high draft picks at these positions and are looking for quality starting third basemen then consider Maikel Franco or Miguel Andujar. The tables below show projected rankings based on total fantasy points (along with their per game fantasy production). We have the top 30 of each infield position and top 60 outfielders. Willy Adames is projected to average 2.58 fantasy points per game and his projected total of 335 points is good enough to be ranked #23 at his position. He only played in 85 games last season so it's not a surprise to see his projected rank greatly improved vs last season. Tim Anderson is not projected to be as good in 2019 (#19) as he was in 2018 where he finished as the #13 shortstop. With 352 total projected fantasy points he is still likely a solid fantasy shortstop.
