Bradley Beal: A Young Player on the Rise

As you may have noticed we have transformed Scout into a data and stats driven service geared towards helping invested fans make the right decisions on a daily basis. This is our new Fantasy Scouting Report that we produce for each fantasy relevant player. We treat them like a stock and report their value in season long fantasy, the current fantasy week, and if applicable, on FanDuel and on DraftKings. Bradley Beal is the #8 ranked fantasy player this season and the #2 shooting guard. His elite ranking is helped by his higher games played (82). Based on average fantasy points he is the #3 shooting guard. He was trending up for the season. In his first 27 games he averaged 35.7 FPs. He improved to 44 in his final 28 games. Given he still relatively young, he should be able to continue showing improvement next season. Based on a relatively low standard deviation, Beal can be considered a consistent fantasy player. He averaged 41 FPs, but on any given day his projected ceiling is as high as 84 fantasy points with a floor of 19 points.

We looked at all of his games that were between the 10th and 90th percentile where the 10th percentile is his floor and the 90th is his ceiling. On DraftKings his floor was 26.8 and on FanDuel it was 25.5 fantasy points. His DraftKings ceiling was 58.5 fantasy points and 55 on FanDuel. He has had more bad FanDuel games (below average by 20%) than good games (20% above average), and the same was true on DraftKings.
