SEASON FANTASY RECAP AND TREND
He was the number #73 ranked point guard and the #327 ranked player overall. He would have been more fantasy relevant if he had played more games. Based on average fantasy points he was the #28 point guard. We split his 16 games into 3 segments (start, middle, and end). He showed improvement from his start of the season to the middle of his season, but then his production dropped off. In his middle 5 games he averaged 16.2 fantasy points which was higher than his start (7.6 FP) and his ending average (5.5 FP). He is young, so his late season drop-off should not be an indicator of an overall downward trend heading into next season. Using standard deviation as an indicator of consistency, Whitehead is relatively inconsistent capable of very high highs and equally low lows. He averaged 9.5 FPs, but on any given day his projected ceiling is as high as 29 fantasy points.
