The computer is constantly updating fantasy football projections, even in the off-season, and in our most recent update for defenses the Saints are number one, followed by the Browns and the Broncos. The Seahawks and Chargers are not in the very upper tier, but they are solid options as well. If you are looking to take a linebackers high in the draft the projection recommends Darius Leonard and Leighton Vander Esch. If you use high draft picks at these positions and are looking for quality starting defensive linemen then consider Calais Campbell or Jonathan Allen. The tables below show projected rankings based on total fantasy points (along with their per game fantasy projection).
