The Broncos and Patriots are projected to finish above them. The Saints and Browns are our top ranked fantasy team defense. If you are looking to take a linebackers high in the draft the projection recommends Darius Leonard and Leighton Vander Esch. If you are looking for good starting defensive linemen, outside of the very top rated ones, consider Chandler Jones or Carlos Dunlap. The tables below show projected rankings based on total fantasy points (along with their per game fantasy projection). In cases where a player is a free agent we have their team from the 2018 season.

One player who is expected to slip in the fantasy linebacker rankings is Roquan Smith who last season was #8 but is projected to be #14 this season. With 121 total projected fantasy points he is still a starting fantasy linebacker.
