Patrik Laine injured his foot after blocking a shot in a game last week. The team wants the swelling to go down before he starts playing again but they have a game tonight, so he will most likely be a game time decision. He has 26 goals and 33 assists this season and he is one of the best players in the NHL, this would almost guarantee the Jets would miss the playoffs if he is out for an extended period. The line will shift if he is unable to play.

REST OF SEASON OUTLOOK AND POSITION RANK

Expect Patrik Laine to be a reliable fantasy starter the rest of the season. His 23 projected fantasy points puts him at #32 behind Kailer Yamamoto and ahead of Reilly Smith. He has averaged 2.03 fantasy points in his past 149 games. Our projected per game average is virtually the same. He is projected to average 2.08 fantasy points.
