|Xavier Ouellet's Fantasy Scouting Report|
SCOUT ANALYST JOHN BOLLMAN'S TAKE
Xavier Ouellet left last night’s game early with a concussion after he was hit into the boards. There should be an update on the extent of his injury in the next few days, but he is not expected to be able to play Sunday. He has just one assist in seven games so far this season, so his absence won’t affect the team. The line will not shift due to his absence.
REST OF SEASON OUTLOOK AND POSITION RANK
According to our projection, you can expect Xavier Ouellet to be a bench player or a good option off the waiver wire. His 6 projected fantasy points puts him at #157 behind Lucas Carlsson and ahead of Braydon Coburn. He has averaged 0.52 fantasy points in his past 31 games. Our projected per game average is virtually the same. He is projected to average 0.63 fantasy points. His rank based on avg proj (#155) is better than his rank based on total fantasy points. Xavier Ouellet is expected to improve on this season-to-date's #226 fantasy position rank.
XAVIER OUELLET WEEK 24 AND 25 FANTASY OUTLOOK
Xavier Ouellet is projected for 0.73 fantasy points in one game the rest of the week which projects to being the #149 ranked defenseman. His projected fantasy production is the same as his rest of season per game projection. He is ranked above Tim Heed but behind Ron Hainsey the rest of the week. Week 25 will be better based on projected rank (#143). He is projected for 1.95 fantasy points.
